This indicator is derived from the Conflict of Interest Component of EUROPAM, which evaluates Monitoring, Oversight, and Enforcement mechanisms for heads of state, ministers, members of parliament, and civil servants. It is calculated as the standardized sum of individual scores based on the existence of the following stipulations in the law: -Monitoring body specified (guidance, training, data tracking) -Enforcement body specified (sanctions, hearings).
